25 | On 08/15/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nohemi Sanchez conducted a case management inspection at the licensee’s request to add an additional bedroom to the license. LPA met with Josefina Garcia, who accompanied LPA on a tour of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, and a census was taken. Licensee’s assistant was also present during the inspection.
LPA observed bedroom #1 and noted the presence of one full size bed and sleeping mats and one play pen. The play pen and sleeping area was kept free from loose articles and objects, with no items hanging above or attached. Additionally, the play pen had tight fitted covers. LPA confirmed that the bedroom includes a closet, LPA confirmed that the closet inside the bedroom has clean sheets, which will be changed daily, was observed to be accessible to children in care, and a dresser that will be utilized for children’s personal items and other items. LPA determined that bedroom #1 meets safety and sanitation requirements as per regulations.
Licensee has submitted an updated facility sketch (LIC999A), along with a photograph of bedroom#1, to Community Care Licensing. Room has been licensed effective 08/15/2025. Areas accessible to children are the living room, bathroom, bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, kitchen, and Family living room, all other rooms are made inaccessible by use of baby gates and door spinners.
Per California Code of Regulations, Tittle 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies cited during this inspection. Exit interview conducted with Licensee Josefina Garcia and a copy of this report was provided. A notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was posted on parent’s board and must remain posted for 30 days.
