32 | INFORMAL OFFICE COMPLIANCE MEETING:
• 1/11/2010 Informal Meeting - the purpose of the meeting was to discuss that licensee was over- capacity on 12/2/2009.
• 12/2/2009 Complaint: 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity - licensee was over capacity during the month of August 2009 fifteen times with the range of 15 - 22 children in care during the 15 incidents.
SUMMARY CONCLUSION:
• Licensee has an extensive history of non-compliance regarding Ratio and Capacity issues dating back to 2002: She has continued to have ratio and capacity issues even after two NCC's and an Informal Meeting. She has continued to not comply with the regulations, numerous citations, and warnings by CCL.
There is no reason for her actions as there is an extensive history of noncompliance dating back to 2002 to 2022.
• Licensee is away from her facility as assistant is signing licensing reports instead of licensee. When LPA arrives, assistants call licensee who is always away from the facility on personal appointments.
• She is licensed for capacity up to 14 and licensed on 8/7/2000.
Facility will stay in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 3 regulations, as well as California Health & Safety Code laws related to child care homes, at all times. Licensee was informed of childcare training videos available on the Community Care Licensing website at www.ccld.ca.gov
Licensee will submit a written plan on how she will prevent future over capacity and ratio issues from happening in the future.
Community Care Licensing will increase frequency of site inspection visits to the facility.
It was discussed that continued violation of California Code of Regulations and Health & Safety Code laws related to child care homes may result in a Non-Compliance meeting and/or will be referred to the Legal Division for possible Administrative Action.
The Department will have reoccurring visits to ensure that the Health & Safety of children in care is being followed.
This report was read aloud to the Licensee today. |
