25 | On 07/28/2022, LPA Jose Penate conducted Case Management Inspection visit today. LPA met with Licensee, Maria Rodriguez who is Spanish speaking and her Assistant. LPA Penate provided services in Spanish. On todays inspection conducted, LPA observed an above ground pool that is not fenced per regulation. Licensee stated that she assumed that the fencing was per regulation due to prior having it approved by Community Care Licensing (CCL). LPA advised licensee that the fencing cannot be chain linked fence due to the separation of the fence could not be larger than the size of a golf ball. LPA also advised licensee that windows that lead to a pool also have to be fenced off to not allow access.
During inspection LPA observed 3 adults outside in the front yard of the home while conducting inspection, LPA asked licensee who the person/s were, and licensee confirmed that they are family members. Licensee stated that adult male is spouse, one adult female was a family member who was visiting and has not been near any of the daycare children and the other adult female has been residing in the home for over 6 months now and licensee verbally stated that she was aware that adult female is not fingerprint cleared.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, deficiency cited during today’s visit (See LIC809-D).
