On 08/24/2022, LPA Jose Penate conducted Case Management Inspection visit today. LPA met with Licensee, Maria Rodriguez who is Spanish. LPA Penate provided services in Spanish. On todays inspection conducted, observed 9 children in care. The facility has a large license for up to 14 children with an approved assistant helping the licensee. Today the licensee was alone and is over ratio. Licensee stated that she assumed she was allowed to have 9 children even if she was alone.

During inspection LPA asked about adults residing in the home, and questioned it due to previous inspection. Licensee stated that she has a relative that is currently residing in the home and is not fingerprint cleared. LPA advised the licensee that she is not allowed to be residing at the facility if she is to conduct daycare services to children. Licensee stated that she made attempts to get the female adult her fingerprints completed but unfortualty the services were unable to be completed and now the female adult is bed written. LPA advised licensee that the female adult can no longer reside in the home.

Per Title 22, Division 12, of the California Code of Regulations, the following deficiencies were cited (See LIC809-D).
