25 | On 02/25/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denisia Jimenez conducted an unannounced inspection at the facility for the purpose of reviewing a Plan of Correction (POC). LPA met with Licensee, Rebecca Espinoza and a census was taken.
LPA observed that Licensee corrected all item addressed from inspection conducted on 01/29/2025. Upon observation and review LPA noticed that the pool alarm did not meet ASTM International Standard F2208, and the life ring was not approved by the US Coast Guard. Licensee ordered the new items while LPA was at the facility and showed proof of purchase. Pool is self-closing, has a self-latching gate with a key lock and rescue pole with a body hook – minimum fixed length of 12 feet. Licensee stated she did not know how to create a pool inspection log. LPA went over the new pool regulations and what is required. Licensee will create a pool log inspection and send it to LPA. LPA will clear deficiency once all items are corrected by 03/07/25.
Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with licensee Rebecca Espinoza.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Licensee Rebecca Espinoza was provided appeal rights.
