25 | On 10/27/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kathy Pacheco conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the facility. LPA met with Director Janae Hansen Grounds to discuss the results of the lead testing of the water at the facility.
Based on information obtained from the water lead sampling test conducted by PACE Analytical, it was determined there was an Action Level Exceedance (ALE), meaning there was a result with values of 5.5 ppb or greater. The ALE of 6.5 ppb was discovered in faucet (G) located in Room 3. Director stated they were previously made aware of the findings and have already taken action to resolve the issue. Director stated faucet (G) has not been used in over two years since Covid-19 began, however, the children and staff were immediately instructed not to use faucet (G) for any reason. She said the facility began using water igloos when Covid-19 started, and they have been filling the igloos with water from other water sources. Director stated they also had faucet (G) replaced in Room 3, however, they continue not to use it. Director further stated, faucet (G) is scheduled for a water lead sampling test on 11/15/22.
