On 10/02/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lady Cabrera conducted an unannounced complaint inspection at the facility. The purpose of the inspection was to investigate and deliver the findings for the above listed complaint allegation. LPA tour the facility with Assistant Director Renee Standridge.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Cabrera collected physical evidence and conducted interviews with staff. Based on interviews, observations and physical evidence, it was determined that an appliance connected to a propane tank is placed on the ledge of the kindergarten/school age building, which is located on the second story building within the school grounds. Based on records review and observation, the appliance was placed above the toddler play yard and picnic tables area, which are used by the children.

On 10/02/2025, LPA arrived at the facility and observed the appliance connected to a propane tank is still placed on the ledge of the kindergarten/school age building, which is a potential hazard to the children in care. The appliance was not anchored. Based upon observations, and information gathered through interviews and physical evidence, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were provided to Assistant Director.
