25 | On 08/21/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nohemi Sanchez and Lady Cabrera, conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection for the preschool license. LPAs met with Director Monica Hicks-Stout and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. This program operates on the traditional school year schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 11:00 am (AM Session) and 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (PM Session).
No poisons were observed during the inspection. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises.
During the indoor inspection, LPAs observed that in the Pre-K 1 restrooms (Restroom 1 and Restroom 2), the laminate baseboards require repair, replacement, or fixing. Also, in the Pre-K 1, the blue walking ramp also requires repair, replacement, or fixing due to exposed metal, which presents a potential tripping hazard. In both Pre-K 1 and Pre-K 2 classrooms, the large area rugs will need to be cleaned or replaced. In the Pre-K 2 classroom, the laminate counter edging had multiple chipped areas.
During the outdoor inspection, the LPAs observed a yellow bench with table that had multiple areas of exposed metal and fiberglass cracks or chips. In the Pre-K 1 and Pre-K 2 outdoor areas, the drinking fountain area and the walking ramp handrails require repainting due to chipping paint.
Furniture and equipment are in good condition. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around high climbing equipment and slides have cushioning material to absorb falls. All toilets and handwashing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition.
