13 | On 6/28/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Adrian Pizano and Theresa Marquez conducted a complaint inspection and met with Center Supervisor Catarina Welch and Center Supervisor (for Ruben J Blunt CDC) Liliana Nunez.
LPAs explained the purpose of this inspection is to provide final complaint findings in regards to the above allegation.
During the course of the investigation, LPA Pizano and LPA Marquez reviewed staff and children files, obtain pertinent documents related to this complaint, and interviewed staff and children. On 4/5/2023, child #1 was observed to be alone in the restroom washing her hands. However, Staff A stated she had a visual on child #1 while she was assisting child #2. Interviews with staff were inconsistant based on the information provided during this investigation.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging staff did not provide adequate supervision to day care child. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur; therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated.
