On 02/27/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Meche Rosales conducted an unannounced complaint inspection at the facility and met with Director Laurie Curbow and Assistant Director Candace Lujan. The purpose of this inspection was to provide the finding for the above-listed complaint allegation. LPA toured the facility and took a census.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Rosales reviewed records, made observations and conducted interviews with the Director and Assistant Director. Based on the information obtained during the investigation, it was determined that although the door leading into the staff break room was open and accessible to the day care center children, there was no evidence that any children accessed the area or any violation occurred. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Therefore, the findings are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. A copy of the report and appeal rights were provided to Licensee.
