On 10/29/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jose Penate conducted a case management inspection of newly added playground at the facility. LPA met with Site Supervisor, Yuliana Casas and toured the facility. During the summer, Administration office informed LPA Penate that playground for the infant program was being conducted and informed that completion would be completed by the end of the year. Site Supervisor contacted LPA Penate on 10/15/2024 to inform that the play area was now completed.

Upon inspection of the playground, LPA observed various age appropriate playground equipment including a play structure with slide (which shows a sticker showing age use of 0 years old to 2 years old), cushioned blocks, bicycles, and furniture for relaxation.

The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Areas around the playground equipment have new sponge turf installed to provide cushion to absorb falls.

LPA recommended to install shade covering on the perimeter fencing for privacy and for safety purposes. LPA discussed the reason to the recommendation and Site Supervisor understood and stated she would place a request for installation.

LPA approved the infant playground and may now be used by the facility.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor, Yuliana Casas.
