25 | On May 18, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Xona Xayavong conducted an unannounced case management – incident inspection. LPA met with Site Supervisor Rene Maston. LPA toured the facility inside and outside, and a census was taken. The purpose of today’s inspection was to follow up on an unusual incident report submitted to the Fresno Regional Office on May 5, 2026.
On May 5, 2026, the Fresno Regional Office was informed that the facility was made aware that two children had symptoms of Hand, Foot, and Mouth (HFM) disease. Site Supervisor stated the children were last present at the facility on 05/04/2026. Site Supervisor confirmed that the infant and toddler classrooms were sanitized and disinfected after the exposure. Site Supervisor also confirmed that other parents and guardians were notified of the possible exposure.
During today’s visit, LPA conducted interviews, observations, and file review. Based on the information obtained, LPA determined that staff took the appropriate actions by disinfecting the classroom, notifying other parents and guardians of the potential exposure, and following the facility’s protocols.
An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Site Supervisor Rene Maston. Appeal rights were provided. Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit was provided and is required to be posted for 30 days.
