On 08/09/2021, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Juvenal Moctezuma & Cynthia Brannon conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection and met with Owners, Oxana Raimondo & Anna Dulcich. LPAs explained the reason of the inspection and a tour of the center was conducted both inside and outside. The center is located on 11645 Venture Way in Bakersfield, CA. The licensees are requesting an increase of capacity. They are now requesting 88 preschool children and 29 toddlers.

LPAs toured the facility and observed that there were plenty of age appropriate toys and space for the requested capacity. The measurements were taken and reviewed with Roxana & Anna during the prelicensing inspection that was conducted on 3/08/2021. Based on the measurements of 3,242 square feet, there is enough room to accommodate the newly requested preschool capacity of 88 children. The total inside Toddler area measured to an approximate 1,028 Square Feet which will accommodate the requested toddler capacity of 29 toddlers.

A fire clearance for a total of 140 children was received and granted by the Bakersfield City Fire Department on 07/02/2021.

Pending a final file review, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for a capacity of 88 preschool children with a toddler component of 29 toddlers.

No deficiencies cited during today's visit.
