25 | On 04/08/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lady Cabrera conducted an unannounced Case Management-Other inspection. LPA met with Sheila Battle. A tour of the facility’s was conducted, and a census was taken. The purpose of today’s visit was to confirm operating hours and to review staff files.
During today’s inspection, LPA confirmed days and hours of operation, which are Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. LPA reviewed with Licensee the Request for Inactive Child Care License Status. LPA reviewed criminal record clearance and the 102417 Operation of a Family Child Care Home regulations.
LPA provided the following forms: Request for Inactive Child Care License Status (LIC9211), Request for Live Scan (LIC9163), Entrance Checklist -Family Child Care Homes (LIC126), which includes the assistant’s requirements.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
