25 | On April 19, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Kari McWilliams conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and was met by licensee Olivia Armagost. Days and hours of operation are Sunday through Saturday, twenty-four hours, Licensee understands that she cannot keep one child for twenty four hours. There are 10 dogs on the premises, only two have access to children in care. There are two cats on the premises but they do not have access to children in care.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the kitchen, bathroom, dining area, family room, and living room are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of child safety gates and door knob spinners

There is a built in pool in the back yard, it is fenced per regulations and the gate opens away from the pool and is self-latching and self-closing. There are no windows or doors with direct access to the pool.
There are firearms in the home located in the Licensee’s bedroom, which is an inaccessible area and the ammunition is locked separately. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room, it has a kennel in the space and is not used as a fireplace. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is a single level home and there are no stairs. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (661) 979-8485. |
