25 | On August 4, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, her mother, and four day care children. Applicant and her mother are the only persons who reside in the home. LPA verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through Pediatric Plus and expires on June 26, 2023. Licensee’s Assistant, Rita Guzman completed the training through Pediatric Plus and expires on June 26, 2023. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on July 20, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on July 25, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. There is a flat screen television mounted onto the living room wall. LPA also observed three day care children having lunch on their high chairs and one having lunch on the dining room table. Day care children nap in bedroom # 1. LPA observed two cribs, one play yard and cots in bedroom #1. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side of the wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
