25 | On August 4, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection, was licensee, her husband, her minor daughter and two day care children. Licensee her husband and one minor child reside in the home. LPA verified licensee's CPR and First Aid completed through American Heart Association and expires on January 30, 2024. Licensee’s Assistant, will be her Husband, Raphis Tisdale who completed the training through American Heart Association and expires on January 30, 2024. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on July 22, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on July 28, 2022. Licensee states that fire inspector did not require for her to install a fire pull alarm. Licensee was informed by fire marshal that a RING home alarm is acceptable. LPA observed a RING home alarm on the kitchen wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture and safe toys. There is a parent’s board that is located on the left hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
