On 04/19/23, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jose Penate and Joseph Pacheco conducted an announced prelicensing inspection. LPAs met with Director, Gloribel Magana and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. The purpose of the inspection was to follow up on the prelicensing inspection conducted on 3/15/23 to verify that corrections were made.

During today's inspection LPAs observed the following items have been corrected:

Inside Daycare:
Indoor place area:

· 22 additional chairs needed=DONE

· All torn mats to be replaced to total 80=DONE

· All shelves in Classroom #1, #2, and #3 must be anchored/braced to prevent from falling onto children=DONE


· To place chimes on all exit’s door from Classroom #1, #2 and #3 which lead to pool area=DONE
· Cup holder and disposable cups needed for Classroom #1, #2 and #3=DONE
· To place child proof doorknobs on all restrooms from Classroom #1, Classroom #2, and Classroom 3=DONE
· Classroom #1, to replace ripped carpet, replace (2) toilet seats in boys’ restroom, replace water drain in boy’s restroom, fix cracked tile in boys restroom, replace base boards in boys restroom, re-grout sink area in boys and girls restrooms, replace base trim in boys restroom=DONE

· Classroom #2, to replace 2 toilets seats, re-grout around sink area, replace torn carpet, fix back splash damage around sink area in restroom, storage room to be made inaccessible, remove all items in teacher’s desk, replace broken tile in restroom=DONE
· Classroom #3, restroom must be cleaned, remove all items in teacher’s desk, replace broken window on west side of classroom, replace broken blinds, replace ripped carpet, shelves that have carpet attached to them must be cleaned, broken plywood shelf to be removed, repair open gap of restroom door leading to outdoor play area, re-grout behind sink area=DONE
· To purchase a First Aid manual=DONE

Outdoor Play Area
· Pool Fence to be replaced to meet Title 22 regulations=DONE
· All large bolts to be cut down to four threads=DONE
· Replace fencing on Northeast corner of outdoor play area=DONE
· Replace swing seats and chains=DONE
· Trim all lower branches on outdoor trees=DONE
· To make sprinkler water line inaccessible=DONE
· Make back area of Tool Shed off-limits to children=DONE
· Get more sand to cushion fall zones on swing set=DONE
· Replace play structure decal sticker to show for ages 2 to 6=DONE

Pending a final file review, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for the requested capacity of 80 preschool children.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Gloribel Magana.
