On 10/03/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nancy Her and conducted an announced prelicensing inspection and met with Director Paulina Ortiz. LPA explained the reason of the inspection and a tour of the center was conducted both inside and outside.

On 09/08/2023, the following was requested to be corrected before licensure:

· Updates to application paperwork


· Shelving units will need to be anchored
· Diaper changing pads and supplies will need to be ordered
· Outdoor carpets need to be flattened
· All toys/equipment need to be cleaned
· Outdoor playground need to be cleaned/free of spiderwebs
· The teeter totter and merry-go-round need to be anchored
· Waiver request for sharing outdoor play area with toddler option
· A sink will be installed near the diaper changing table in Classroom #1
· Outdoor signage will need facility numbers
· The entrance to the sleeping area will need to be 4 feet tall

During today's inspection, LPA observed that the shelving units were anchored. The diaper changing pads meet licensing requirements. Outdoor carpets are flattened and the toys/equipment as well as the outdoor playground have been cleaned. The teeter totter and merry-go-round were removed. A sink was installed within arms reach of the diaper changing table in Classroom #1. A waiver has been submitted. All outdoor signage has facility numbers. The entrance to the sleeping area is 4 feet tall.

Application paperwork is still missing. Once complete, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for the requested capacity of 8 infants (age 0-2) and 20 toddler option children (age 18 months – 36 months).
