LPA reviewed a sample of children’s files and observed files were complete with contact information for authorized representative and or relatives or others who can assume responsibility for the child and medical assessment. LPA reviewed a sample of staff files and observed files were complete with health screening, immunization records for influenza, pertussis and measles and current documentation of completed mandated reporter training.
LPA discussed the Community Care Licensing website www.ccld.ca.gov which will provide access to resources such as forms, regulations Provider Information Notices (PINs), and Quarterly Updates.
LPA discussed Reporting Requirements as outlined in the regulations (Section 101212).
Criminal record clearance records are completed as condition for employment and maintained by the Geenfield Union School District Office.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1- CCP). LPA referred Director to the Department website for lead: www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/water-testing-information.
CCC COMPLETED TESTING AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF REMEDIATING LEAD EXCEEDANCES.
Fresno Regional Office received notification of water lead exceedance at the facility resulting from a recent water lead sampling test. Based on records reviewed from the Child Care Center Lead Sampling and Reporting Tool, it was determined that multiple outlets were tested on 03/23/2024 and retested on 05/25/2024. On 05/25/2024, Kitchen Stove D was impacted with an ALE of 14.8 ppb and TK1/TK2 Exterior Drinking Fountain identified as E and F were impacted with an ALE of 5.93 ppb and 11.9 ppb. These results indicate out of compliance over (ALE) 5.5 ppb. (See Plan of correction for further corrective action on LIC809D). Kitchen Stove D and TK1/TK2 Exterior Drinking Fountain E and F has been temporarily made inoperable and is in the planning stages of replace/repair Licensee agrees to continue with the resampling process for an action level result of under 5.5 ppb for compliance with a Certified Sampler. |
