25 | On 6/20/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, her husband and her two minor children. Licensee, her husband and two minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through EMS Safety and expires on 6/17/25. Licensee’s Assistant, Breanna Rodriguez completed the training through EMS Safety and expires on 11/4/25. Applicant understands that her assistant cannot be left alone to provide care and supervision to the day care children.) Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 5/9/24.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 5/10/24. Fire pull alarm is located on the kitchen wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed a diaper changing station and a flat screen television mounted onto the living room wall. There is a parent’s board that is located on the left hand side wall of the home’s entry way. During today's inspection licensee informed LPA that she wants day care children to have access to the chain link fenced front yard. LPA inspected the fenced front yard and observed a cemented and sodded area for the children to play. There is a Little Tikes play house and garden benches. LPA has approved the fenced front yard to be accessible to the day care, as it is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations.
