25 | On 09/15/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lady Cabrera conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA Cabrera met with Licensee Mirian Hernandez. Upon arrival, a census was taken, and LPA toured the facility inside and outside.
This visit was initiated by the Licensee to inspect the living room, which was previously designated as an off-limits area. The Licensee requested to make the living room accessible in order to provide care and supervision to the children.
The current facility sketch was reviewed, and the Licensee confirmed that Bedroom #1 (day-care room) and the hallway bathroom are accessible to children in care. All other off-limits rooms were made inaccessible through the use of child-proof doorknob covers and child-proof safety gates.
The purpose of today’s visit was to inspect the living room. LPA observed a sectional couch, a swivel rocker recliner, children toys, and a flat-screen television mounted on the living room wall.
LPA requested an updated facility sketch. LPA confirmed with the Licensee that the areas accessible to children will now include the living room, Bedroom #1 (day-care room), and the hallway bathroom. During today’s visit, LPA approved the living room as an accessible area for day-care children, effective 09/17/2026.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
A Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Licensee, Mirian Hernandez.
