25 | On 4/25/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jessika Thompson conducted an unannounced case management inspection to assess off limit areas of the home that the licensee has requested to now use for child care purposes. LPA met with Osama Albawab, explained purpose of today's inspection, toured facility, and took a census.
LPA inspected Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, Bedroom #3, Bathroom #1, and Bathroom #2. LPA observed a bed, desk, and chair in each bedroom. LPA did not observe any hazards present. Licensee stated he would like to use the bedrooms as napping areas for preschool and school age children. Licensee stated he intends to keep the doors open while children are sleeping as a precaution. LPA inspected Bathroom #1 & Bathroom #2; LPA did not observe any hazards present. LPA reminded licensee that cleaning agents, chemicals, and personal hygiene products must remain inaccessible to children at all times.
As of 4/25/2023, the entire home, excluding the garage and Bedroom #1's walk-in closet, is accessible to children and permitted for day-care usage. An update facility sketch has been submitted and will be placed on file.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiency was cited.
Exit interview conducted with licensee. A copy of this report was provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit Form was posted to parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days. |
