25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Norma Lomeli, conducted an unannounced Case Management - Licensee Initiated inspection. LPA met with Spanish-speaking Licensee Maria Cruz. The purpose of today’s inspection is to inspect bedroom #4 that licensee wants to utilize for the care and supervision of the day-care children. During today's inspection, LPA observed in bedroom #4, a closet with diapers, a desk, an large wooden television cabinet with a flat screen television on top and a speaker on a stand. Licensee states that she will remove the furniture and items from bedroom #4 and move in the child size furniture, safe toys and books that are now located in the accessible living room (day-care room). Current areas accessible are living room, dining room, kitchen, foyer and hallway bathroom.
Licensee is advised the following items must be corrected and proof will be provided to LPA within 30 days for bedroom #4 approval for use:
- Licensee will move child care items into bedroom #4 such as; child size furniture, safe toys and books.
- Licensee will provide LPA with and updated Facility Sketch (Floor Plan, LIC999A) including measurements (L X W).
Pending verification of corrections above, LPA will approve bedroom #4 as an area that accessible to the day-care children.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
During exit interview, LPA observed licensee post the Notice of Site Visit on parent’s board and understands it must remain posted for 30 days and retain evaluation report for 3 years.
