25 | On February 23, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Paul Garcia conducted an unannounced case management visit and met with Licensee Cristel Zambrano. A tour of the facility was given, and a census was taken. This visit was initiated by licensee to inspect one (1) room that was previously off limits that she now wanted to use for the children in care.
Current facility sketch was reviewed, and Licensee confirmed that now the children’s lounge room, playroom, napping room, hallway restroom and the secured gated back yard play yard are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of retracting child safety gates and door spinners.
LPA inspected the lounge room and observed two couches, child table for eating, and children’s tent for dramatic play. Also, safe toys and play equipment were observed in the lounge. The lounge offers additional square footage to the areas utilized for care for the children. The lounge room is safe for children. LPA approves the immediate use for the room that was previously off limits.
LPA confirmed that the new facility sketch that was received during visit matched licensees sketch to ensure the accuracy of the areas being used.
LPA provided Licensee Anita with technical assistance of the CCLD website and the training's that are available to her.
Per Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies are being cited today.
Report was provided and an exit interview was conducted with Licensee Cristel Zambrano. Notice of Site was provided and must be posted for thirty days. |
