25 | On 2/25/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee and seven day care children who were napping in the living room. Licensee and her roommate reside in the home. Verified licensee’s and Licensee’s Assistant, Mikayla Sloss completed CPR and First Aid through EMS Safety with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on 8/25/2025. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 1/24/2025.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 1/31/2025. Fire pull alarm is located on the dining room's right wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed two play yards, three high chairs and a diaper changing table. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- LPA did not observed bodies of water in the home or premises.
- Facility has a 2A10BC fire extinguisher mounted onto the kitchen wall. There is a functioning carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
