25 | On 03/14/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nohemi Sanchez conducted a case management inspection at the licensee’s request to add an additional bedroom to the license. LPA met with Dana Degraffenreid, who accompanied LPA on a tour of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, while a census was taken. Licensee’s assistant was also present during the inspection.
LPA observed bedroom #2 and noted the presence of two twin size folding beds and one crib. The crib was kept free from loose articles and objects, with no items hanging above or attached. Additionally, the crib had tight-flighted covers. LPA confirmed that the bedroom includes a closet, LPA confirmed that the closet inside the bedroom has clean sheets, which will be changed daily, was observed to be accessible to children in care, and a dresser that will be utilize for children’s personal items for overnight care. LPA determine that bedroom #2 meets safety and sanitation requirements as per regulations
Licensee has submitted an updated facility sketch (LIC999A), along with a photograph of bedroom#2, to Community Care Licensing. Room has been licensed effective 03/14/2025. Areas accessible to children are living room, hallway bathroom, bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, and Bedroom #3, all other rooms are made inaccessible by use of baby gates and door spinners.
Additionally, the licensee has submitted and updated LIC279 form to request a change of operating hours are Monday through Friday 24 hours, for periods of less than 24 hours per day per child.
Per California Code of Regulations, Tittle 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies cited during this inspection. Exit interview conducted with Licensee Dana Degraffenreid and a copy of this report was provided. A notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was posted on parent’s board and must remain posted for 30 days.
