25 | On 2/18/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was Spanish-speaking licensee, licensee’s assistant and two day care children. LPA observed the two day care children were playing in the backyard while licensee's assistant was caring for them. Licensee, her husband and three minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s and Licensee’s Assistant, Francisco Jimenez Diaz completed CPR and First Aid through EMS Safety with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on 5/18/2025. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 1/27/2025.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 1/28/2025. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s hallway wall on the left.
- LPA observed in the day care room, children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. There is a flat screen television and a parents board mounted onto the living room wall. LPA also observed one high chair, a diaper changing pad in bedroom #1 and one play yard.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
LPA did not observe bodies of water on the premises.
