25 | On 04/18/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jose Penate conducted a Case Management, 90-day Post inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Nancy Lopez, toured the facility and took a census. The purpose of today's inspection was to conduct a 90-day inspection due to recent licensure on 01/17/2024. This is a single-story home and children will have access to the living room, dining room (day care room), and hall bathroom. The outdoor play area in the backyard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present. Off-limits rooms and closets are made inaccessible by doorknob safety covers or safety gates. Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and as arranged. No overnight care will be provided.
LPA reviewed a sample of children’s files which contained all required documentation including Licensing forms and proof of immunization's. LPA explained the Family Child Care Home requirements regarding Incidental Medical Services (IMS), Safe Sleep regulations and requirements, information regarding pools and other bodies of water, and emergency/disaster drills. LPA provided written materials to Licensee regarding these requirements.
LPA and Licensee discussed the Community Care Licensing website www.ccld.ca.gov which will provide access to Provider Information Notices (PINS), Quarterly Updates, Mandated Reporter Training, Safe Sleep in Child Care, Lead Poisoning Facts, Forms and Regulations.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited during today’s inspection.
