25 | On June 24, 2026, an unannounced case management – licensee-initiated inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Valentin Hernandez and Xona Xayavong. LPAs met with licensee Martha Ceja. LPAs toured the facility indoor and outdoor, and a census was taken.
The purpose of today’s visit was to inspect new room labeled as Game room that is an additional room that Licensee would like to add to the LIC999A Facility Sketch Floor Plan. LPA Hernandez obtained a copy of the updated facility sketch floor plan. The living room, Game room, bathroom inside Game room and backyard and all other areas are made inaccessible by the use of baby gates and door knob spinners. Licensee provided LPA Hernandez with City of Delano-Community Development Department, Permit# BP2025-663 that was issued on 4/17/2026. Fire clearance was granted on 6/02/2026.
On today’s visit, LPAs observed the game room. The room is free of hazards. The Game room contained: rugs, cots, children toys, children books, gameboards, child size furniture, two high chairs, 2 cribs, and 1 play yard. The Game room also contained a bathroom with one sink and one toilet. As of 6/24/2026, Game room is approved by the Department to be used for children in care.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
An exit interview was conducted with licensee Martha Ceja. A copy of this report was provided to the licensee and was reviewed. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. The LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit form is required to be posted for 30 days.
