25 | On 10/30/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Robynn Estrada-Marshall for a pre-licensing/ change of location inspection. Applicant, her husband, and three minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 10/4/24.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 10/7/24. Fire pull alarm is located on the dining room wall.
- This is a two story, four bedrooms and three and half bathrooms town home and upstairs area will be off-limits to the day-care children. There is a retractable mesh gate at the bottom of the stairs making upstairs area inaccessible. Care and supervision will be provided in living room (day-care room), kitchen, downstairs master bedroom #1, master bathroom #1, and downstairs bathroom. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of child proof safety covers and child proof retractable mesh gate.
- There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room, children size furniture, safe toys, and books for the children. There is a flat screen television mounted onto the wall, four high chairs and a diaper changing table.. LPA observed in master bedroom #1 a sofa, a love seat and a flat screen television mounted onto the wall. Children will nap in the day care room and master bedroom #1. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
