25 | On 1/29/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Norma Lomeli and Jose Ruiz met with Spanish-speaking Applicant, Alejandra Mondragon for a pre-licensing/change of location inspection. Applicant and four minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 1/21/2025.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 1/22/2025. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s day care room wall.
- This is a single story three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living quarters back house that has living room (day care room), kitchen, one bedroom and one bathroom home and children will have access to the living room (day care room), dining room/kitchen, and hallway bathroom located in the main house. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of doorknob safety covers and key locks.
- There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room, a parents board, a flat screen television mounted onto wall, safe toys, and books for the children. LPAs observed a child diaper hanging table, four high chairs and child size furniture in dining room. Children will nap in the day care room on mats or cots and infants will be nap in a crib or play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
- Facility has a 2A10BC fire extinguisher mounted onto the living room wall. There is a functioning smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and first aid kit in place.
