On 03/14/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nohemi Sanchez conducted a case management inspection at the licensee’s request to have a converted garage into a day care room and add to her license. LPA met with Alejandra Mondragon, who accompanied LPA on a tour, both indoors and outdoors, and a census was taken. Licensee’s assistant was also present during the inspection.

LPA observed age-appropriate toys and one crib, four playpens. The crib and playpens were kept free from loose articles and objects, and there were no objects hanging above or attached to the crib and playpens. Furthermore, the crib and playpens have tight-fitting covers. LPA observed one changing table for infants. LPA observed a small children’s size table that will be utilized for children in care during mealtimes and activity times. LPA observed a small TV mounted on the wall. There is one small bedroom that will be utilize for napping area for children in care. There is a small kitchen area that is made inaccessible with the use of a baby gate it is safe and had no potential danger to the children in care. LPA observed a restroom that will be utilized by the children and confirmed that there are no poisons/detergents present. It contained toiletry items, baby wipes, and storage for diapers. LPA observed that the garage conversion is safe and sanitary as regulations require. Heating and ventilation. Fire clearance was granted on 02/20/2025. Facility sketch has been updated room has been approved for use as of 03/14/2026. Areas license for use of care are the garage/ day care room, bathroom, and small napping room, all other rooms are made inaccessible with the use of baby gates and door spinners.

Per California Code of Regulations, Tittle 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, there are no deficiencies cited curing today’s inspection. Exit interview conducted with Licensee Alejandra Mondragon and copy of this report was provided. A Notice of Site Visit Form (LIC 9213) was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
