13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Shawna Doucette conducted a visit to commence a complaint investigation. LPA identified herself and discussed the purpose of the visit and the elements of the allegation and deliver findings with Administrator, Perla Pena.
LPA conducted interviews and reviewed records. LPA obtained copies of court order, R1's LIC602, witness statement and R1's admissions agreement.
Based on records review and interviews, the court order states R1's son cannot visit R1 in her room and only in common areas. The court order states R1 has the right to refuse visitation. After conducting interviews, it was found R1 was sleeping and did not want to wake up to visit.
This Department has investigated the complaint alleging, Staff would not allow resident to have a visitor. We have found that the complaint was UNFOUNDED, which means the the allegation could not have happened, and/or is without reasonable basis, therefore we have dismissed the complaint.
A exit interview was conducted with Administrator Perla Pena and a copy of this report was provided. |
