25 | On 2/24/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Elva Fisher for a pre-licensing/ change of location inspection. Applicant, her husband and two minor children reside in the home. Applicant’s assistant will be her Husband, David Fisher. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on 2/22/23.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 2/22/23. Fire pull alarm is located in the Mother in Law suite (day care room), on the entry way on the right hand side wall.
- This is a single story, three bedrooms, two bathrooms home and detached Mother in Law suite. Day care children will have access to the Mother in Law suite (day care room), that includes a living room/ kitchenette area, bedroom and bathroom. Off-limits rooms are in the main home that are made inaccessible by the use of key lock.
- There is a fireplace in the main home that applicant states it will be inaccessible to the day care children.
- LPA observed in the day care room; children size furniture, safe toys, and books for the children. There is a high chair, a refrigerator, a microwave and a parents board. There is a parents board on the right hand side wall. Children will nap in the living room and bedroom on cots. Infants will nap in play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times.
- Facility has 3A40BC fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and first aid kit in place.
