On 07/24/26 at 12:42 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sydney Sims and Erica Laird conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with facility representative Ashley Beavers. It was alleged that Lack of supervision resulting in inappropriate aggressive behaviors between children, Director not available during daycare hours, and Staff are not meeting children's needs during meals, specifically that the staff do not provide proper supervision resulting in the children causing harm to one another, that the Director is not present during the facility’s hours of operation, and that the staff are not providing children with sufficient care and support during meal time and are not ensuring children and staff are washing their hands.

The Director was interviewed on 05/13/26 at 10:07am and denied the allegations stating children are always supervised by the staff and if the children are displaying aggressive behaviors the staff intervene and redirect the children. Director stated that the Director is always present during day care hours unless the Director has a training or meeting and then a substitute Director is present for the day. Director stated that staff always wash their hands before serving meals and staff put on gloves and that the staff make the children wash their hands as well before meals.

On 05/13/26 LPA Sims observed the children being served lunch and observed that all children were offered food but that some children chose to not eat.

During the investigation LPA Sims toured the facility, and conducted interviews with staff, parents, and children that did not support the allegations.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Ashley Beavers. Appeal rights were provided.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
