32 | child#1’s hand, walk if are a bad listener. Per child#2, unknown teacher will get mad, if do something wrong, will get in trouble, will see the consequences, will not play ball outside. Per child#3, If do something wrong, will get in trouble, will not play outside, we sit on the red table.
Based on an interview that was conduced with staff#3, no disclosures was made.
Based on interviews that were conducted with staff#2 and staff#3, about two years ago, when child#1 was attending the school, child#1 was a part time child who was picked up around 12:30 PM, it was nap time, the classroom is a open square classroom, two staff were putting the classroom to nap, and child#1 was on the table area in the classroom and waiting to be picked up. When the parent of child#1 arrived, child#1 was crying in dark room on the table but was not alone in the classroom and two staff were present in the classroom and putting other children to sleep.
Based on an interview that was conducted with staff#1, can not recall the incidents regarding bowl and flash cards. Per staff#1, she did not observe any staff member to yell at the children.
Based on an interview that was conducted with staff#2, she has seen to take bowls from kids when kids were banging on the table and when they were ready to eat, teacher gave it back to the kids, but did not see not to provide food to the kids.
Per staff#2, about two years ago, when child#1 was attending the school, one day she was doing a circle time with kids, two kids were smacking the flash cards, at that time child#1’s parent came in the classroom and at the same time staff #2 said to the kids, that was rude, not in a bad way and child#1’s parent called the office, and complaint that staff#2 said rude, and is not going to keep child#1 at school anymore. Per staff#2, she did not yell at anyone.
The allegations may have happened or are valid, but there are not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations occurred, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated at this time. The evidence scale is equal meaning the weight of convincing evidence to prove something happened is equal to and has just as much convincing weight that it did not happen.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
