32 | LPAs observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via each child’s personal water bottle. LPAs observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property.
LPAs observed a total of 2 sinks, 2 toilets, 2 urinals near classroom 1 that will be available for children and 2 sinks, and 2 toilets located next to the playroom in the play yard for children to use as well. The number of toilets and sinks are sufficient to accommodate the requested overall capacity of children.
The play yard is fully fenced area. Fencing is made of wrought iron, which was observed to be at least four feet high. Measurements were also noted for the existing play yard, which equals to 3,542 square feet. Shade is provided via a fixed shade structure. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. Drinking water is available via children’s personal water bottles. LPAs observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. The Director was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.
No corrections are needed. Upon a final file review, a license for 41 children serving ages 2 to 6 years old in Classroom 1, 3, 6 and Playroom will be granted upon fire clearance approval.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days during facility’s hours of operation. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of the report was provided to Director, Michelle Reily.
