On 10/30/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Justeene Tamayo met with Assistant Administrator Christine Burton, for a Case Management Incident inspection involving an Incident Report dated 10/09/2024. Upon arrival, LPA observed 100 preschool children in care.

Description of the incident: Parent#1 reported that teacher #1 hit child #1. Parent #1 observed the teacher yank child #1 arm.

Based on documentation obtained and interviews conducted, additional follow up is needed. Assistant Administrator informed an unannounced visit will be conducted at a later date.

An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was read and provided to Assistant Christine Burton, as well as her appeal rights and Notice of Site Visit.
