32 | Diaper changing stations was observed to be clean and sanitary with diapers and wipes. Center provides diapers and wipes unless parents choose to bring their own. LPA observed diaper change log and a separated sealed trash bin is used for soiled diapers.
LPA observed the kitchen for safety, sanitation, and good repair. Kitchen consists of refrigerator/freezer, sink, food preparation counters and cabinets. Knives and sharp items are stored in cabinet, made inaccessible by an automatic lockable screen door. The facility participates in a food program. Menus were observed and updated as needed. Children are provided with filtered water and disposable cups. In break room LPA observed a second fridge. LPA did not observe any expired food. LPA observed temperature logs.
The outdoor play area was inspected for safety, cleanliness, good repair, age-appropriate toys/equipment, cushioned floors, and shady areas. The outdoor play area is enclosed with chain link fence. LPA observed a play structure with rubber flooring. The outdoor play space is shared with the preschool program. Per SS and LPA observation, children do not co-mingle and outdoor play times are staggered. LPA observed shed used for toy storage and center supplies. Per LPA observation, there are no pools, spas, or bodies of water on the premises
LPA observed cleaning compounds to be stored in adult’s restroom and storage shed maintained locked (located outside in the back of infant classroom). Emergency first aid kit is in classroom and SS office. LPA observed smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. LPA tested alarms and heard the sound both are operable. LPA observe fire extinguisher 2A10BC with service tag dated 11/14/25. LPA did not observe prohibited childcare items. There is dry snacks and emergency packed foods in outdoor shed and break roo.
LPA reviewed a sample of children files which contained all required information. LPA review staff files. Director’s Pediatric first aid/CPR expires 06/20/28 and Mandated Reporter training expires 10/10/27. LPA observed emergency drills fire drill dated fire drill 9/22/26, earthquake drill 8/5/26 and evacuation drill dated 9/15/26. Per Site Supervisor, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Per Site Supervisor, there are no firearms/weapons stored on premises.
LPA observed required postings: Facility License, Personal Rights (LIC613A), Parent’s Rights Poster, Passenger Car Seat Law(PUB 269), and Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610), menus and daily activity schedule.
