LPA observed a total of 2 sinks and 2 toilets available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of additional children. There is a kitchen area in between both Classrooms #2 and #3 that is off-limits to the children. There is a staff restroom that is located in the same area.
The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Fencing is made up of a chain link, which was observed to be at least four feet high. The total square footage for the current utilized outdoor activity space is 2,863 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Facility will utilize a staggered staggered play schedule which was obtained by the LPA. LPA observed a climbing structure on site and per Facility Representative, the climbing structure is currently not in use and the facility will be replacing it with a new one. The facility has blocked off the area with cones and tape. Shade is provided via fixed shade structure. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. Drinking water is available via water fountains and filtered water pitchers and cups.
