On 01/17/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lisa Clayton conducted an unannounced Case Management – Licensee Initiated Inspection for the Child Care Center. LPA Clayton met with Director Yasmeen Chunara and Assistant Director Yu (Romy) Chunara. LPA Clayton toured the facility indoors and outdoors and observed 68 children in care, being supervised and cared for appropriately by 11 fingerprint cleared staff members.

LPA Clayton conducted an Annual inspection on 10/10/2023 and observed a wood play structure in need of repair, and not being used by the children in care. On 10/12/2023, LPA Clayton received a copy of the planned repair of the wooden play structure (invoice placed in facility file for review) as follows:

· Remove and replace all necessary wood pieces

· Remove and replace all necessary bolts and screws

· Stabilize and connect the structure on the ground

· Repair the swing set to safe working condition

· Sand and Paint the entire structure

Today LPA Clayton observed the wooden play structure to be complete and in good repair. The wood platform has been completely replaced, the structure is stable and sturdy. LPA observed new bolts and new swings in place. Photos are available in the facility file for review.
