25 | On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Keneisha Dunlap, and Franchesca White arrived for an unannounced Case Management visit to deliver an exemption denial letter from the department dated on June 23, 2024. LPA Dunlap announced the purpose of the visit and was granted entry into the facility by Licensee, Carol Sanders. There are 7 children enrolled and 5 children present at the time of inspection.
At approximately, 10:15am LPA observed the preschool children sitting at a round table in the Classroom #1 with Licensee.
At approximately, 10:30am LPA Dunlap gave the Licensee was a copy of the Exemption Denial Letter that denied Marquita Gumms. The Licensee was given a copy of PIN 20-20CCLD. The LPA Dunlap explained to the Licensee regarding the Guardian User Account. LPA Dunlap explained to Licensee to make sure that any potential employees have criminal background clearance prior to starting employment at the facility.
The Notice of Site Visit must be posted at the entrance of the facility for a period of 30 days. Failure to do so will result in civil penalties in the amount of $100 per violation will be assessed.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
