25 | On 6/08/26, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced 3year Inspection for the above-named Child Care Center. Center is licensed for 24 children ages 2 years to 5 years of age. LPA met with Director Ilona Gergi. LPA Richmond toured the facility indoors and outdoors and observed 4 children in care, being supervised and cared for appropriately by 2 fingerprint cleared staff members. Facility hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained.
There are no swimming pools, ponds, or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to children in care.
LPA Richmond observed a fully charged 2A:10B:C fire extinguisher in the CCC by the entrance door. Fire extinguisher last serviced and or inspected July 2025. LPA observed last fire drill documented on 4/21/26. LPA Richmond observed working carbon monoxide and smoke detector in the classroom. Fire alarm is on a wired pull fire alarm system in the classroom.
Toilets and hand-washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. LPA inspected the classrooms and observed age-appropriate toys, books and furnishings. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards.
LPA observed a prepping area, with a sink, refrigerator, and storage for foods. Foods and toxins or chemicals were stored separately. LPA did not observe any expired or contaminated foods. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair.
