13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted an unannounced complaint inspection upon arrival LPA Lee met with Assistant Director Cindy Stansbury
During the course of this investigation LPA conducted interviews, reviewed documents, and made observations in regards to the above allegations.
The complaint alleges that the facility did not isolate a child who had a communicable disease. The complaint goes on to state that a child with hand foot and mouth disease was allowed to stay inside the classroom for about 30 minutes. The facility denied the allegation made no disclosure. During interviews, the Director and staff stated that on 06/22/23 a child in care (Child#1) was signed in by a parent after being asbent for several days. During the sign in period the parent explained to the classroom staff that Child#1 had hand foot and mouth disease but is now feeling better and can return. After the parent had dropped of Child#1 inside the classroom, the staff member inside the classroom notified the Director and asked to have Child#1's hands looked at. |
