25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection due to an incident that was reported to the Department on 2/18/2025. LPA met with Office Manager who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Per Office Manager, Principal Christina Ramaya was unavailable and will return at a later time. Census was taken.
On February 18th, 2025, an incident was self-reported to the Department via Email by the facility who reported that Child #1 was bit by Child #2.
All reports were reported within the required 24 hours. The purpose of the inspection was to obtain additional information regarding the incident reported to the Department.
During the inspection, LPA Valenzuela conducted interviews with staff and child. No disclosures were made by staff or child. Per staff, Child #2 has no prior incidents involving biting another child at the school. According to staff, Child #1 was seen by doctor and returned to school the following day with no restrictions.
LPA obtained copies of incident notes and notice of first aid.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. No deficiencies cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Office Manager.
