------------------------------------------------- This is an ammended report ----------------------------------------------Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Roxana Lopez conducted an unannounced follow-up complaint inspection to deliver findings on complaint received on 7/14/25. LPA met with Office Manager Odette Matarico who informed LPA that Principal Hurdle was out in a meeting. LPA was taken to Lead Teacher Monica Hurtado, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Lead Teacher they were unable to step out as they were counted in ratio and report could be read to Office Manager. Census was taken.

During this investigation, interviews were conducted with staff, children, and parents by Investigations Branch (IB) investigator, Rocio Flores. Investigator Flores also obtained several documents related to the complaint allegation.

Based on the information gathered, and interviews conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. -- pg. 1 of 2----

A finding of unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
