On 12/18/24 at 9:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Claudia Kam conducted an Unannounced Case Management inspection to follow up on a incidents that were reported to The Department. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representative, Antonia Sanchez, Lead Teacher, who provided LPA on a tour of the facility. Census was taken.

During this inspection LPA interviewed Facility Representative, who reported the incident to Licensing, and she stated that she followed LAUSD protocols in calling Law Enforcement Agency (LAPD), submitted SCAR report, and informed LAUSD Operations. LAPD notified Facility Representative to handle Administratively, and no investigation was conducted by them. Facility Representative Principle Wendy Peel states she has conducted investigation which involves interviewing staff and children. Per Facility Representative, interviews did not provide corroborating information. Child continues to attend and was observed. Facility Representative states currently the investigation is near completion, pending further discussion with Operations Manager on next steps. Representative states that she has a school policy preventing any staff to be alone with children. Based on the information obtained, there was no violation of personal rights at the facility at this time though there is pending information. LPA requested Facility Representative to provide update to Department should one become available.

The facility was found in compliance per Title 22 regulations, there will be no deficiencies cited today 12/18/24.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative Antonia Sanchez.
