32 | First aid kits supplies are kept inside the classrooms and LPA observed the kits to be fully equipped. During this visit, Specialist stated that there is currently 3 children with medication or severe food allergies in the facility. The Specialist stated no firearms, weapons, no poisons nor bodies of water are located in the premises and LPA did not observe any of the above mentioned. Specialist stated the ill isolation area takes place in the director’s office and children utilize the staff restroom. Lead testing was conducted on 10/4/24 and had no lead exceedance.
Licensing staff observed the outdoor play area to be fenced all around and the gates closed. There are 2 play yards, 1 for the preschool children and 1 for the toddler children. The equipment was observed to be free of sharp, no lose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. LPA Solorio-Campos observed the play structure equipment to be age appropriate and areas around or under climbing equipment, are cushioned with material that may absorb a fall. For adequate shade, LPA observed canopies. For outdoor water drinking, LPA observed purified water pitchers.
This program provides breakfast, lunch and p.m. snack. Meals and snacks are delivered by an outside company. LPA Solorio-Campos informed Specialist that any food brought from the children's homes shall be labeled with the child's name and properly stored or refrigerated. For indoor water drinking, water was observed to be readily available for children via purified water pitchers. LPA observed the food preparation area to be clean and free of litter, rubbish, rodents, and/or any other vermin and storage containers for solid waste, including movable bins with tight-fitting covers that are kept on. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects and rodents.

LPA reviewed the children’s roster, children’s files, staff files, and sign in/out application and all were observed to be complete.
