Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilia Hernandez conducted an unannounced case management inspection on 10/30/2024. LPA arrived at the facility at 11:41AM and met with Armando Inclan, Principal, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 43 children and 13 staff present upon arrival.

The purpose of the visit was to follow up on the completion of the alterations in Classroom 1 and Classroom 2. Per Principal, there were no alterations to Classroom 3. LPA took measurements of all 3 classrooms to ensure that the alterations did not reduce the capacity the licence was granted for prior to the alterations.

Indoor measurements:

The indoor measurements contains a total of 4104.38 square feet which will continue to accommodate the currently capacity of 117 preschool children.

LPA observed a portion of the outdoor play yard fenced off and inaccessible to children. Per Principal, Phase Two of the outdoor play yard is under construction with an estimated date of completion for November 2024. LPA was provided with the temporary evacuation plan until Phase Two of the outdoor play yard is complete.
Per Principal, classrooms will follow a staggered schedule for outdoor play time. LPA was provided with a copy of the outdoor schedule.
LPA advised Principal to report construction updates to the Department. LPA will conduct a follow up visit to verify capacity of the facility has not been affected by construction.

There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
